2025-08-03: I purchased this autobiographical, travelogue by Pico Iyer from Thriftbooks in March of 2020. Like many travelogues (and autobiographies), this one is an easy read, but I did not finish reading it then. I came across Pico Iyer again recently, and wanted to find this book again. As it happened Nayana unboxed one of the many boxes still unopened from our relocation from India, and this was in that box. What had stuck with me from the previous reading was his description of Kyoto, and his early courting days with his wife. Looking forward to read it.
